Sing to the Lord
by PJ Salas

"Oh, sing to the Lord a new song!  For He has done marvelous things. His right hand and His holy arm (Jesus) have gained Him the victory. The Lord has made known His salvation. His righteousness He has revealed in the sight of the nations."  Psalms98:1,2.

Wonderful Savior

Indeed the Almighty has done marvelous things. His right hand, His holy arm, the Lord Jesus Christ, has gained the victory over the second death. (Revelation2:11;20:6,14;21:8).

The Savior has provided for us the opportunity to stop sinning, and to live with Him eternally. This is our song of praise to Jesus, shouts of joy and gratefulness for His incredible and selfless act on our behalf. Praise His name!

Christ's Righteousness
Our Righteousness

No longer in bondage to our sinful nature, we can choose Christ and His power to live a victorious life of overcoming our sins. We can live as God intended us to live, in goodness and holiness. (Philippians4:13).

Christ’s righteousness becomes our righteousness, if we open our hearts to Him, accept His sacrifice, and let Him help us live as we should. And if we so choose, we have a future of eternal bliss. This is inspiring of praise and rejoicing. How great the Creator is, how great and good is He! Thank You Jesus.

Focus On Jesus

During the season of celebrating the pagan holiday of Christmas, focus not on the customs of the holiday, but rather on the Savior of the world, whom Christmas purports to honor. Think about what Jesus has done, and what He continues to do for us. Focus your attention on Christ. Turn your thoughts toward Him, the One who loves you more than you love yourself, better than you love yourself.

Time For the Savior

Make time for Jesus during the holiday; make time for the Savior during all the days and seasons of your life. Open your heart to Him, let Him come into your life, and give you peace and joy, patience, endurance, and victory over every sin that so easily ensnares and binds you. (Hebrews12:1).

Celebrate Jesus

During the festivities and celebration, rejoice in Jesus. "Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say, rejoice." Philippians4:4. "Rejoice greatly … behold, your King comes to you. He is just, and having salvation ..." Zechariah9:9. Celebrate the Savior.

God Loves You

God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not die, but will have eternal life. (John3:16).

Give your heart to Jesus. Commit your life to Him in truth and sincerity. Make Christ the center of your life; choose Him, for He is good. The Savior cares about you. He cares about what happens to you.

Jesus gave Himself for you because He loves you so much. He wants for you true peace and happiness, and an eternal home with Him.
