God promises hope, and He assures all who trust and believe in Him of a future hope. I know My plans for you, says the Lord, plans for good, not for bad, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11.

The Future

“I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth passed away. I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”

“And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there will be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There will be no more pain, for the former things are passed away.”

“Then He who sat on the throne said, behold, I make all things new. And He said… write, for these words are faithful and true. And He said to me, it is done!”

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to those who thirst. They who overcome will inherit all things, and I will be their God, and they will be My children.” Revelation 21:1-7.

Expectation of All

This is the yearning of every human being, a place to reside without fear and terror, without pain and sorrow. We long for something better, something more than this cruel and hateful world, with all its suffering and sorrow. Yes, there is good in our world; but that good pales in the shadow of growing wretchedness. This world is not our home, and praise God it is not! We are sojourners here, pilgrims.

Jesus is the desire of every human being; He alone satisfies our every longing and need. And though some may not realize it, indeed, He is our only hope, now and for the future. We look forward to the day when Jesus will make all things new again. We hunger for that better day when sin will be no more, and Jesus will create new heavens and a new earth wherein righteousness will dwell (Isaiah 66:22; 2 Peter 3:13).

Hope with Jesus

There is one way, one truth, one life, the Lord Jesus Christ (John 14:6). Do not miss out, do not lose the future hope; give your life to Jesus today. He loves you! He wants to be with you. Choose Jesus; choose to be with Him, now and forever.

"For the grace of God shines forth, giving light, bringing salvation to all people, teaching us to refuse ungodliness and worldly longings, and to live righteously, godly, and wisely in this present world, looking for the blessed hope, the appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, so He could redeem us from all sin, from every lawless deed, and purify for Himself a special people, zealous for good works." Titus 2:11-14.

Jesus is our hope, He is our blessed hope.
